Curaçao is an island in the Caribbean, among the group known as the ABC Islands alongside Aruba and Bonaire. One of the most notable things about the island is its culture. Willemstad has a gorgeous old town. Many of the buildings were constructed in the colonial Dutch manner in the early 18th century. The facades of these buildings are a kaleidoscope of colours ranging from pastel tints to vibrant blues, greens, reds, purples, jades, and buffs in a wide variety of shades. Friendly inhabitants, wonderful climate, white sand, crystal clear water, some of the world’s best scuba diving spots, European-style architecture, a unique international floating market, the world’s longest floating bridge and the many possibilities for excursions and entertainment really make Curacao a place that should be on your Caribbean wish list.
