A majestic stupa is mistaken for the high jungle cups somewhere on Sri Lanka's southern coast. As we move forward, the splendour of Tissamaharama, a town of great importance in the ancient Cingales Kingdom of Ruhuna, is discovered before us in the 3rd century AD.C, wrapped in five different lakes.
