Maar tegenwoordig is het een leuke stad met mooie boulevards, parken en tuinen, een historisch centrum en met de meest beroemde jachthaven Puerto Banús, aan de Middellandse Zee, waar je de mooiste jachten aantreft, en betaalbaar voor iedereen.

Het oude gedeelte van Marbella is een leuke plek om te bezoeken, gedurende de dag en vooral 's nachts. Als de nacht invalt zijn op plaatsen als Patio de los Naranjos de terrassen gevuld en later op de avond verdwijnt iedereen in de bars in de omgeving voor een drankje.
