It is easy to find Teton Village, just “head for the hills”. Actually, you are headed to the east slope of the Teton Mountain Range. Take WY 22 out of Jackson to the junction of WY 22 and WY-390 – a distance of approximately 5 miles. Turn onto WY-390 and go another 6 miles and the village will be obvious on your left. Situated at the base of the mountain is the Swiss-style Teton Village, Wyoming, better known as the "Vil." Salt Lake City has become the centre of a hugely successful religious empire. The Bonneville Salt Flats are located next to Great Salt Lake, a huge area covered by salt that is one of the flattest areas in the world. Zion National Park contains several archaeological sites of great importance and offers an opportunity for exceptional hiking.
